Bigwell fly fishery is set in an idyllic location in the small village of Redbrook, situated in the picturesque Wye Valley on the border between England and Wales.
Bigwell consists of  two spring fed lakes which are crystal clear and cold with two more lakes fed from the overflow from the spring and local stream, which bring in wild brown trout. Set in tranquil surroundings offering a diverse mix of animals and plants including ducks, birds, geese, kingfishers, pheasants, wagtails, hawks and even the bigwell mascot our beautifully carved trout from a tree stump, (see picture in gallery section )chain saw carved for us by Darren Roberts from Caerleon one of or regular fishermen.

Our stream offers anglers a great opportunity for catching the occasional wild brown trout (all brown trout must be released)

Why not come down and relax with us, as well as a days fishing we offer a friendly atmosphere with a well equipped shop should you require some fishing equipment.
We also have a selection of food to get you through the day, including an all day breakfast.  hot and cold drinks available

Bigwell Fly Fishery has been under new management since May 1st 2013, we are very proud of the work that has been undertaken by gary to restore this gem of a fishery. We restock every week with rainbow trout and a small number of blues,there are also small numbers of wild brown trout

Our 24 hr fishathon for help for heroes has raised a magnificent £2607.90 which has now been banked into help for heroes charity, thankyou to all who helped raise this money for such a worthwhile cause.8
